The New Ball Park

Once again Steve has bought season tickets for the Washington Nationals. They have a brand new ball park this year which is really nice. The kids were super excited to go to a game last Sunday. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to go because of work, but as luck would have had it I was able to go. We parked in the city and took the Metro a couple of stops to the new ball park. The kids LOVED the metro. (probably more then the ball game) The game started at 1:30 and Brendan's nap time is still 1:00. Well he hung on as long as he could but then had to take a nap snuggled in with mommy. Madison got bored quickly so we bought her off with two doses of cotton candy and I say doses because it really is like a drug to her. Bless her heart she couldn't stop talking the whole night because of the sugar rush and literally when she ran out of things to say she just made up words to keep going with. She tried to explain to us that she was a chatter box and couldn't help it. WoW is all I can say. Of course the kids love the mascot Schreech and we were all thrilled he came right to our seats. Well spring has sprung so lots of fun to come.
