We are very lucky that where we live there are lots of great things for kids to do with in an hour or less drive time. While daddy was away in New Orleans doing work for Habitat for Humanity the kids and I took a trip to the Smithsonian Udvar Huvey Air and Space museum. I really like this museum because it is close and smaller. The kids have no trouble walking around on there own and there are never a lot of people so I don't feel nervous letting them wander. We especially like the space ships (space shuttle) and of course the Stealth bomber which is also daddys favorite. They recently added a small plane that the kids can climb into and sit in. Madison wasn't overly interested, but Brendan was happy to give it a try. Maybe we have a future pilot on our hands. C
