One Year Down

After Fl came the final days of preschool for MG for the year. It was kind of sad to see that first year come to an end. We both have made some wonderful friends who we will keep up with over the summer and join again in the fall. Next year will be a big year for me as Brendan will go to school 3 days a week and Madison will go 4. I will finally have a small amount of me time again. I can at least guarantee 3 showers a week starting in the fall. :) As sad as it is to see it end I am happy to not have to drag MG out of bed and race us all out of the house to get to school by 8:30. Funny how when she was in school she would sleep until 8 some mornings and now that the summer has begun I am lucky to get 7 ! Can you say conspiracy!

Mini Vaca to Florida

Wow, we really have been busy!! The weekend following Matts wedding we packed it up and headed south to Amelia Island in Fl. Steve won the trip from work for being one of the companys top producers. This year the company was nice enough to invite the kids as well. MG and B are becoming great travelers and love the airplane. They are also big fans of the hotel. B wanted to go home to a hotel after we got back to VA. The kids are also becoming quite the little fishies. They loved the pool and didnt care so much for the ocean but would go willingly with the promise of a return to the pool. It is nice to be able to take the kids places like this and to see how much they enjoy going now.

Wedding Fun

The weekend of May 10th we went to York PA for Matt and Lindsays wedding. It was a wonderful wedding. The kids had a great time at the reception. They both danced the night away. Congratulations Matt and Lindsay!

What 42 Looks Like

May and early June have been really busy for us. On May 10th Steve turned 42, and no there are not even 20 candles on that cake. Good thing, the house may have burned down other wise. Our lives have changed so much in the 10 plus years we have known each other. Was he really only 32 when we met? We may have a lot less time for one another and I may yell a lot more now, but I sure do love the big old lug and couldn't imagine a day with out him. Some how even though he makes me crazy he also keeps me sane.
I love you sweetie.

Doggy Dreams

I bet we can all guess what my dear dog Domi is dreaming of. By the way Domi turned 2 on May 31. Happy Birthday Sweet doggie.

Sleepy girl

Madison has a terrible time falling asleep after a long day. You would think the child would be so exhausted she would just fall into bed. Unfortunately she seems to be one who needs a long time to unwind. The good news is she can usually do this without a lot of help from me. She loves to look at her books until she falls asleep. This particular night she was reading one of her great big story books and fell asleep with it right on top of her head. So sweet when they sleep, even with a large book on there face.
