My Girl

Madison is just such a special girl. She brings me joy and frustration every day. Lucky for me the joy usually out weighs the frustration. I am constantlly wondering where my little baby went. She is now such a big girl, today after the park I asked her how she liked it and she said it was "fantastic". I didn't even know she knew the word fantastic. Big word for a little girl.

Please pardon the crows feet on mommy. :)

Day at the Park

This morning the kids and I went to this awesome playground out in Hamilton. It has absolutely something for everyone, including a rock pit complete with trucks and shovels. Madison made some new girlfriends to play with and Bubba was happy just to climb on everything and spend some time on the slides. It really is amazing to just watch Madison go up to any little girl and ask her to play with her. If everything in life could be so simple and pure.
When we got home we played in the kiddie pool on the deck and then had some lunch. Not a bad mornings work.

Happy Birthday Leesburg

This last weekend we went to a little celebration in town for Leesburgs 250th Birthday. We just kind of happened onto it. They had the 2 main roads closed and had fire trucks out to climb on and games for the kids as well as just random booths etc. Neither one of the kids wanted to climb on the fire trucks, but B was happy to have a hat to take home. They both got into a game where they dug through some corn looking for little rubber cows. Once they found 4 different colors they got to take one home. Brendan actually got 4 different colors, but I really don't think he even knows his colors. He has sense bitten most of the limbs off of his cow. MG loved to play in the corn almost more then the getting to take a cow home.

Gotta love living in a small town.

The many Faces

In the first picture he seems to be saying "hey ladies how you doin?"

In the second picture you can imagine him saying "hey ladies what did I say? where ya goin?"

Sorry we have been mia for a while. We have been busy playing outside with the nicer weather.

I will try to update with some more pics and quick commentary.

Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Steve

Sorry, no pic but still a little up date on us.

Today was Steve's birthday we didn't do much to celebrate but did eat cheesecake last night and ice cream cake tonight. Needless to say both were a hit with the kids.

Today Madison also had some dental work done. My original plan was to make Steve take her. This was her 3rd apt. and it was decided that she would need to be sedated to have her xrays done and cavities filled. As the mommy who is much to sensative when it comes to her kids I really wanted Steve to take her, well last night she decided that she wanted mommy to take her. Ugghhh! I am so not good at these things, but knew that I had to do it for her. We have a great dental practice that we go to and I was not worried about anything going wrong, but just the thought of her getting a shot makes me teary. I know I am such a big wimp. Well, I am happy to say that all went well. I only got light headed at the end when I had to get her. She was still grogy and half under and it was just all I could handle to see her like that. Of course I also cried when she got the pre sedation shot. It was absolutely easier on her then me. She had pizza for dinner tonight and is doing great except for a little tenderness on one of her teeth that had to be filled deep.

While we are talking teeth bubs finally has his top right eye tooth poking out. You can actually feel the point. Only 3 more of those to go and then the molars for him.

Well sorry for the gorie details of our life, but this is how we celebrate birthdays around here.

Maybe I will get a chance for a shower on mothers day so we can get some pics to add for all of you.

Hug your babies and be thankful that they are healthy and safe! We sure are.

Happy Birthday Steve. I love you.
