Snow Day

Ahhh, the perfect snow day! This morning we got about 3-4 inches of big, fluffy wet snow. It was great for playing in because it wasn't too cold out. We have a huge hill on the side of our house that all of the "big kids" sled down, as you can see there are trees and such at the bottom and Steve was able to find a tree at least twice. Madison walked up and down the big hill and did some sledding at the neighbors yard. She was fearless and went as fast as she could. Brendan played a little when he woke up from his nap, but refused to keep his mittens on. Out of all of us though, I think Domi had the best time. She would chase everyone on a sled up and down the hill. She thinks snow balls are great and loves to eat as much snow as she can. She just was pure joy in the snow. The snow turned to rain this afternoon, so it is good we got out when we did.

Puppy love

This photo just shows what a great dog Domi really is. Bubby is completely laying on her and she just takes it, and boy does he love to "snuggle" his doggy.

Brendans First Haircut

Well, it took me over 3 years to get myself together but better late then never. I will try to keep this blog updated so you can use it as a place to check in and see what is new in our crazy world!

Today we finally broke down and got Brendan his first haircut, just short of turning 18mos. It was really hard for me, he went from being a shaggy baby to a little boy with a real haircut. As you can see it was time. He has downy blond hair and it was starting to be a long mowhawk. He did really well but did yell because he was mad when they trimmed over his ears and the back of his neck. Nothing a few lolli pops can't fix. Madison was happy to get a lolli without doing the work. I will post the after pics next time.
